How does Ernst-Ulrich Schafer see the world? Though a BxW lens and picture frame!
Come learn the method of how Ernst gets his signature bxw portraiture style. This will be a hands-on learning class, with a portrait session and photoshop tips on using Nik Software. Bring your camera and computer.
He will bring in some history of photography into the introduction of his class, along with a few images from his personal projects. You will observe h
ow the original RAW image looks and what he does with it using Nik Software.
The class will walk across the street to Bridgewater Photography's studio to watch how he takes does his portrait sessions. Once he's done, you can take your own photos to use later in the class.
On the way of returning to the classroom, you can purchase either pizza, hot dogs or crepes from local businesses. While eating, you'll watch Ernst take the newly recorded images and create his unique bxw creation. Here you will take your images and create Ernst's BxW Portraiture style!

Over 40 years of being excited about photography, with 20 of those years involved in portraiture. I love the History of Photography which drives me to find my own images. I also love collecting BxW photographs with a sizable collection.
