Computer Basics: Pixels, Color Space and Resolution 

Tuesday Nov. 10 @ 7pm [online/Zoom]

Plan to join us for a unique education event from PPW.  We will showcase an education session from Ron Nichols about Pixels, Color Space and Resolution. Your live host, Forrest Cooper will facilitate this event and there will be a live Q & A at the end. This is for both new photographers as well as seasoned professionals.

“Get a little technical as PPA Instructor and color guru, Ron Nichols, M.Photog.Cr., API

walks you through some fundamentals of managing and mastering color on your computer.  Ron gives you an understanding of resolution, pixels and color space that will change how you handle your images.

Discuss SRGB, Adobe RGB, and how output affects color. Explore DPI vs. PPI and why it matters. Learn from a master as Ron explores Photoshop and default settings you’ll want to use.”

About Your Instructor: Ron Nichols, M.Photog.Cr.Hon.M.Photog., APIhas been a successful professional photographer for over 25 years. His Grand Ledge, Michigan studio specializes in family portraits, children and high school seniors. In addition to his studio work, he's worked as a consultant for many other studios and works with manufacturers and software developers on ways to best integrate their products into studios.

About your Host: Forrest Cooper, FP, owns and operates Cooper Studios in Shelton WA with his wife Amy, He has a BFA degree in Visual Communication and has years of experience in fine art expositions containing photographic works as well as installation art and sculpture.
