JURY CHAIR

Allison English-Watkins
M.Photog.Cr., CPP

For more than 25 years, Allison has been an active photographic competitor. Through the highs and lows of print competition, Allison has learned very valuable lessons that she uses to create her signature style of family portraiture.  Because Allison uses her clients portraits when she competes, she has learned to use the 12 elements of print competition in her daily work.  Her family portraits have won numerous local, state and national awards throughout the years. Although, Allison feels the biggest award she receives is when her clients hang her wall portrait in their home.  Allison is currently serving as an International Photographic Juror and on the PPA Board of Directors.

Allison operates her home studio in the mountains of Park City, Utah and loves her career more now than when she started almost 30 years ago.  Since she still loves learning and growing, you can always find her sitting in the seats at great education taking notes and plotting her next photographic goal.

Pete Rezac
M.Photog.Cr., CPP

Pete Rezac, a portrait photographer based in Reno, Nevada, still chooses to work with medium and large format cameras and film in creating his fine art portraiture because of the tactile process it provides him in creating his work, along with the rich tones and high fidelity of the photographs that come from these tools. Seeking an authentic look to his children character portraits, Pete was inspired to create timeless portraits showing children at their best. This work has earned him numerous accolades from the photographic community. He's been a competitor since 2010, and Affiliate judge since 2018.  He enjoys helping others reach their image competition  goals.
