Fun with Non-traditional Light
Join Clinton James for an evening shoot using alternative lighting sources to create light sculptures in your night time images.
Clinton will demonstrate several long exposure techniques using sparklers, LED lights, flashlights, and combustible materials and offer suggestions on using those techniques in your wedding, portrait, and art photography.
All are encouraged to bring camera and tripod. Also bring anything that emits light including children’s toys with LEDs, on-camera flashes, flashlights, iPads, lighters etc.
We will be using each other as models for this fun evening.
Sunset is at 8:31. The tide will be going out, with a low of 3.74 feet at 9:31 pm. Some of the best images will be made after 9:00 as it gets dark, so plan to stay late and have fun!
