7:00 Airika and Gerald Pope and Kimberly Person and Loren Callahan (Alante Photography) The Popes and Alante Photography share their experience and strategies for in person selling. Both studios experienced marked increases in their margins and after sales by making the switch from relying on the client to sell to themselves online versus a personal guided sales session.
8:00 Stand up, Be Seen. Your time to introduce yourself and your work to your professional colleagues. Offer your take on the world, then join your fellow art makers in the salon for a print show, discussion and end with an off-beat awards celebration.
9:00 VIP Party. Join us behind the red velvet rope for food, drinks, and networking. Music provided by Audio Innovations, Photobooth by Nicole Medcalf of Flash Me Photobooth, Catering by Ever After Events.

10:30 Aaron and Meg Nelson. This husband and wife team will discuss Client Communication, Expectations, and Agreements. They will share stories and essential steps to better prepare your business for success – even if anything happens that is out of your control.
11:00 Rachel Vos: Graphic artist, costumer, photographer, full-time mom to twin toddlers will describe her process for developing photography projects from concept to final art piece as well as explaining why doing personal projects benefits you and your business.
11:30 Josh Durias and Karlyn Hardman. Join two local photographers and world travelers s they describe their work for NGOs in Ethiopia, Peru, Ecuador, and Kenya. Find out how powerful imagery and a passion for storytelling can change the world.

1:30 Evan Bourn. Taxes and Bookkeeping, the nitty gritty. Save you and your business LOTS of time and money with accounting and tax strategies that will set you up for success. Evan will allow plenty of time to answer all your questions.
2:30 Nicole Medcalf. Nicole describes the equipment and skills needed to use high speed sync flash photography. See how the most challenging outdoor lighting situations are made easy.
3:00 Alan Sanders. Our resident Photoshop Guru will explain the foundations of color management, then go free-form into the latest tools and processes of CS6. This audience-directed forum is the perfect opportunity to get your most pressing Adobe questions answered.
4:30 Live Shoot With Models undefined Your Turn to Play. Bring your camera (and remote) for four different models using four lighting approaches. Volunteer photographers will offer a short demonstration with a variety of lighting equipment and approaches, then let YOU experiment with live models and vintage WWII fighter plane.

6:30 Lyle Jansma. As darkness falls, Lyle will demonstrate his techniques and insights on “Industrial Light Painting” and explain how those techniques can be adapted for wedding and portrait work.
