North King District Photography Networking and Planning Meeting

Like most folks, we start planning for next year in December, so take a break from the holiday madness and tip one back with a fellow photographer. This is just a quick fun first meeting for our district, but hope to meet either in January to get a core group going interested in all things photography! I was newly elected a representative for PPW, so I am reaching out to everyone I know in the area to get started. I hope to chat about our businesses and have a little quality network time in.

I am having it at my favorite bar in Seattle which is a good central location, the owner is very art, music, and photography friendly, and the space is pretty calm and slow with plenty of room for a group like this early in the evening. They also have a happy hour if you want any snacks. This could be a good permanent home since it has plenty of parking at the Taco Time parking lot nearby and is a fun artsy spot with good people and good vibes. But those who attend our meetings opinions matter the most, so your feedback is critical in our formative stages. In other words, we want you to show up and get something out of this.

I invite you to get your feedback for best days, times, and what not for regular meetings. I will get some vendors of equipment, experts, and leverage my connections with other associations and the community for a variety of events concerning photography, art and business, education, demos, and simple networking and support. Our group is sponsored by Professional Photographers of WA, associated with Professional Photographer's of America) and is the North King District (includes Snohomish), but all are welcome to come by and attending events. And don't forget to invite a friend or two I missed. Our association is full of photographers from all different areas and subject matters, and boasts some of the best and brightest in our field. Many of them accomplished, award winning, and recognized in our field.
