PPW MOCK COMPETITIONS 2015
1) What is a mock competition?
Primarily it gives our salon team opportunity to work out any bugs in this new method of entering and judging images prior to the PPW Annual Spring Conference and Competition. Also, it is an opportunity for PPW members to experience the application for PPW Annual Conference image competition,
2) When will the mock competition be held?
Sept. 13, 1:30pm at the Seattle library / Fairwood Library, 140th Ave SE, Renton, WA

3) Who can enter?
Members of PPW have priority. Members of SPPA or the Sno-King Meet up group if there is room. Members of Sonja Yearsley's Tri-Cities Meet Up group.
Priority will be given to PPW members. After a certain date non-members can enter if the quota of images has not been met.
In other words, if PPW members take all 30 slots before the site is open to non-members, then the competition will be closed for that date.
4) How many images can be entered?
Each person may enter a total of 2 images, with a total of 30 images to be accepted for each judging date.
5) What is the cost?
The mock competition is free.
6) If I can't make the live mock competition can I watch online
No, it's not available at this time.
7) How do I enter?
a) Logon to printcompetition.com (create account if necessary)
b) Choose the PPW Logo
c) Click "Create New Image Entry" button.
d) Follow the on screen instructions.
e) Ignore "Pay Case Fee" as this is a free competition
8) How do I enter prints?
This competition is for digital images only.
9) Can I enter images that have already be judged by PPA or PPW?
Yes, you can.
10) If I enter images that have never been judged, can I still enter them in PPW competition in the spring of 2016?
Yes, you can. None of the judges for the mock competition will also be judges at the PPW Annual Image Competition on 2/27/2016
11) When can I enter the mock competition?
Seattle: PPW Members: August 20 - Sept 10 (or until 30 entries are received)
Non-members: Sept 1 - Sept 10
Olympia: PPW Members: Sept. 11 - Oct. 15 (or until 30 entries are received) Non-members: Sept. 26 - October 15
12) How will I know if my prints are among the 30 to be judged?
The printcompetition.com website will indicate the competition is CLOSED when the quota of images has been met.
13) How can I find out my score if I can't attend?
