LIGHTING ON-LOCATION WITH JOHN LOK

Join Seattle based Portrait/Food Photographer John Lok as he shows you the tricks of the trade on lighting with the new Profoto B2, Off Camera Flash system and TTL system for Nikon and Canon. During this two-hour seminar he will demonstrate how versatile this new lighting kit is for aspiring food, sports, wedding and portrait photographers. Attendees will have a chance to get hands-on, so bring your camera to participate.

John Lok is a Seattle-based photographer who specializes in portraiture, food and lifestyle. In his 12-year career as a photojournalist, he has honed his lighting skills by covering a broad spectrum of subjects, but has always come back to his main interests: people and food. He discovered a passion for making images at the age of 30, and this led him to pursue formal training in the photojournalism program at Western Kentucky University. He has interned as a photographer in Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri and California, before returning to his hometown of Seattle.
