Am I the only one who feels like I am in a time warp? This year seemed to creep along but I blinked and now it is October - I find myself wondering where the time has gone. There was so much I was planning on accomplishing this year both in our business and our personal lives, I was not prepared for the world to be turned upside down resulting in a big shift of plans. I think it is fair to say most of us have had to take a good hard look at our business, or daily life and adjust the best that we can. I know the PPW Leadership team has done this by meeting regularly to discuss next steps even when we are not certain what the world has in store for us. We plan and prepare and we do our best. I am beyond proud of the members of this organization and the dedication of our volunteers, being an active part of this community enriches the overall experience. Our member volunteers have stepped up and provided virtual meetings, a successful hybrid Fall Conference, a new and improved Marketing Committee, a growing social media presence and an optimistic look at PPW's future. We have accomplished a lot in this year and it is not over yet. Planning has continued for our Annual Spring Conference and Image Competition for 2021 and we plan to have announcements as soon as the new details are finalized. We will also continue having District Virtual Events so if there is a topic you would be interested in learning about, reach out and tell us about it - we would like to hear from you.
